Pula - Hotel Punta Verudela Resort

by Natatsa Lujic
(Dubrovnik)

These apartments form a tourist complex consisting of residential units located in several independent two and three store buildings. The arrangement makes a typical Mediterranean settlement. The buildings are connected by bike and walking paths. Further, there are supermarkets, coffee bars, restaurants, sweet bars, pizzerias and various shops. The abundant nature in this area is truly unique to the Adriatic Sea, and much of the flora and fauna are under environmental protection.

Being one of the best preserved amphitheatres in the world, the Arena of Pula has often been the subject of study by many famous artists and in particular architects.

Today the amphitheatre is being visited by numerous tourists from all over the world. It is the place where opera, concerts and pop-concerts of the world's most famous singers, as well as the traditional film festival are held during the summer time.
