Opatija

Opatija is the largest tourist attraction during both the winter and summer months. Situated in the Republic of Croatia below the Nature Park of Ucka, Opatija offers a wide variety of attractions including; festivals, concerts and other cultural events, so there is plenty to do all year round.

Some of these events include the funboard compitition, the Volosko Open 2008. The Basket Tour ‘08, and the 44th Annual Tennis Championships. All of this in Opatija, what a pleasure to stay here.

Some of the other sights that you don’t want to miss while you are visiting are the Church of the Annunciation, built in as early as 1906 this is a spectacular sight.

The Open Air Theater, where you can watch a motion picture. There are also many villas that you can enjoy. The Villa Astra, Villa Marija, and many, many more. No matter what the reason you are visiting Opatija you will enjoy your stay here in Kvarner Bay.
