Konavoski dvori, Konavle, south of Dubrovnik

by Natasa Lujic
(Dubrovnik)

Spend an unforgettable day in an idyllic natural setting. Enjoy a drive through the picturesque villages of the Konavle region (Popovici, Radovcici) before we stop above the town of Molunat for a view of the Croatian southernmost part - the Prevlaka peninsula.

We re-join our coach to continue through the Konavle Valley to the Konavoski Dvori Restaurant, one of the foremost restaurants on the entire Dalmatian Coast. A traditional welcome of local brandy and dried figs will take place in front of the restaurant situated next to an old mill by the cascading waters of the Ljuta River.

Enjoy the romantic charm, exceptional wines and traditional cuisine of the area. A visit to the gallery of the primitive painter Mijo Šiša-Konavljanin in the village of Mihanici will round off this memorable and highly enjoyable excursion. Guide, local drink, lunch and entrance fees included.
