Astarea Hotel is located in the small village of Mlini, just 200 m away from the center and 12 km south from Dubrovnik. The entire area is known for brooks that flow from nearby sources, lavish Mediterranean vegetation and beautiful pebble and sandy beaches. The hotel is situated on the very seafront, in a beautiful mountain setting and 50 m beside a pebble beach. With regular buses and water taxis to the old city of Dubrovnik and Cavtat, you can explore the surrounding area with the distance of 5 minutes stroll to the quaint fishing village of Mlini. A small selection of bars and restaurants are suitable for couples or families who would like to have some facilities in relaxing surroundings. The hotel might not be suitable for clients with walking difficulties.Rooms Information Hotel Astarea is divided into two types of accommodation, the main hotel building with excellent facilities (Asterea I) and two-story annex pavilion building located in spacious grounds, just 30 m away from the main building (Asterea II). The hotel has been completely refurbished in 1998 with 307 comfortable rooms including 217 rooms in the main building and 90 rooms in the annex. All rooms feature a balcony with sea view and come furnished with private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar and safety deposit box. The rooms in the main building are air-conditioned Restaurants & Bars In the hotel there are main restaurant serving buffet breakfast and vegetarian food in a warm and friendly atmosphere, à la carte Taverna restaurant which offer rich varieties of local specialities, nightclub and aperitif & cocktail bar. Grill-restaurant, fish restaurant, steak house and coffee bar are also the components of the Astarea Hotel Facilities & Services Hotel services and amenities include satellite TV room, a peaceful lounge, air conditioning in public areas in main building & central heating, sunny terrace, indoor swimming pool with heated sea water, sauna, massage, fitness centre, bowling, table tennis and various entertainment programmes.
