Dominican monastery and church religious buildings in the city Dubrovnik. Located in the eastern part of the old part of town with city walls. Dominicans formed monastery Dubrovnik 1225. year. Construction was completed only in the 14 century in the complex with a large church.
Church is one of the largest Gothic construction on the east coast Adriatic. Drafts produced Michellozo di Bartolomeo, and the construction of a Dubrovnik Utešimović masters, and other South Radomanović portal created by sculptor Bonino of Milan in 1419.
He points to the Gothic -Renaissance cloister, Trefoil arches of the cloister close to rosettes. The expansive yard is a stone well. The bell tower started to build the master Checo Italian City Monopolija 1390. year, but was completed only in 18th century.
Museum of the monastery contains valuable manuscripts and 217 incunabula, Pictures of Dubrovnik painters from the 15th and 16 century: Lawrence Dobricevic, Michael Hamzic and Nicholas Bozidarevic,
A large painted crucifix Venetian painter Paolo Veneziano from the 14th century altar and altarpiece "St.. Magdalena," the work of the famous Italian painter Tiziana from 1550. year.
