Dubrovnik churches - St. Blaise's

It was built on the site Romanesque church, which survived the great earthquake 1667. But was destroyed in fire 1706. year. New Baroque church was built from 1706. up 1715. The drawings Venetian Builders Marina Gropellija.

The church has a richly decorated façade with a portal, and before him the broad stairs. Central area of the church topped with a cupola. The main marble the altar is a statue vol. Blaise of gilded silver, the work of masters from Dubrovnik 15th century.
