Owner of this picturesque little place, Inga, saved me more then once from making a fashion disaster, and each and every time sent me of into the world looking like a movie star. It might be because they acquire clothes only from New York and San Francisco, or because their clothes is bought by some of the major production companies in town, but whatever the reason, Šlic, is definitely the place to style yourself cheap.
If you re style is more alternative and artistic, then you won’t mind taking a short walk trough downtown Zagreb, to visit one of the oldest second hand shops in town -Kuul.
And here’s a tip: take you’re coffee to go, and turn this short walk into enjoyable sightseeing, for it takes you trough Zagreb’s main street Ilica into its more distinctive part - Frankopanska Street.
Your designated address is Frankopanska 20, where once again you should look for a sign like the one in the picture, indicating a coolest place in town to get dressed. This little shop is specialized in 70-ies and 80-ies style, and it has the largest selection of leather clothes for the lowest prices. And it’s the only place in town you can rent clothes. Why? Well if you ever happen to be invited to theme party in Zagreb, renting a dress in this shop will certainly make you the star of the night for they have some of the funkiest dresses I have ever seen.
